About Me.....‚Äč

I am a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and have worked with clients for almost ten years.

Being a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor means I am able to draw upon several different Humanistic theories, so I may offer a seamless and tailor made approach for each individual client.

I offer a free Initial Assessment, this is approximately an hour long meeting in which both I and the prospective client gather information and discuss if we wish to work together. This is a good time to get an idea of what it will be like to work together therapeutically.

I have full Indemnity Insurance and take monthly supervision for both my Face To Face and Online services.

Working with clients is my passion, I am able to offer a space where the client/s can be free to express themselves without judgement or pressure. I take great care to maintain my client's confidentiality.

I have an up to date Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Certificate.

I specialise in working with children and young people, offering them support at their time of need. I truly believe that by addressing young peoples issues as soon as they feel ready, they will be able to move into adolescence and adulthood with much better coping skills and resources, thus leading to a happier life with better relationships.

I take Safeguarding very seriously and endeavour to stay up to date with all responsibilities and changes to policies.

I also work with parents and children together, helping them find better ways of relating to each other, so they may understand each other better and experience a more harmonious relationship.

I work with Counselling Students and offer them concessions.

I have a Private Practice and also work with an agency who offer low cost counselling in the Wiltshire and Dorset area.

I work from Salisbury (Wiltshire) and Shaftesbury (Dorset) and also work nationwide with my Online Practice.

I follow closely the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy's Ethical Guidelines.
